Telethon proceeds donmated to Princess Elizabeth Centre and Blind Welfare Association

One of FPATT's most important fundraising projects is the annual Telethon to which performing artists donate their talent. FPATT shares the proceeds with other non-profit organisations. Above, from left, Dona Da Costa Martinez, Executive Director of FPA, Dianne Borneo of the Blind Welfare Association, Matron Brenda La Maitre of the Princess Elizabeth Home and Emile Elias, Past President of FPA the presentation ceremony.

Resource Development

Because of the status of the Family Planning Association of Trinidad and Tobago as a non-governmental organisation, much of our revenue is earned from projects and other intense fundraising activities. Many organisations present the FPA with grants of money under the terms of Deeds of Covenant and donations during the year. However, FPA also receives in-kind assistance from organisations with regular business suppliers and partners and those who support the vision of the Association. All of these grants and donations offset costs and expenses that are incurred by the Association during the year, and ensure that we can keep the cost of our services to the public as low as possible.

In this section, you will find a list of donors to the FPA over the 2005-2006 period.
