Community Based Health Workers (CBHWs)
Community Based Health Workers (CBHWs) are trained community members who are concerned with sexual and reproductive health (SRH) issues that are facing their communities. They are trained by FPATT in basic information on SRH to enable them to encourage men and women to use the services which are provided by the Outreach programme. These CBHWs volunteer their time to promote our services in their communities and to increase awareness about SRH issues through training and lectures, and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy.
