All about Puberty

Unfortunately, there is no “magic” switch to adulthood. You will never wake up one morning an adult, complete with all of life’s answers. Nor will your life stop changing once your 18th birthday rolls around. Instead, life is something that happens step by step - each day we build a little more on what we’ve learned so far.

To grow as a person, you need to be willing to accept change. As a teenager, you’re going to experience a lot of new things. It’s an exciting time, but you’re going to have to make a lot of difficult choices too. How you choose to face these choices today will play a large role in shaping the kind of person you are later in life.

High school courses you choose, for example, may eventually influence what career you decide to enter. This may seem like a lot of pressure, and it is. But just remember, nobody expects you to make all the right choices in life. No one ever has, and no one ever will. What’s important is that you realize that change is a great thing, and that you learn from your good and bad experiences as you go. If you can manage this, you’ll be well on your way to enjoying a rich and full life!
